We are really excited to introduce the first electric submersible pump specifically designed for low flow sampling, the PowerPro ESP by QED. Most electric submersible pumps are geared towards high volume flow rates so when you slow the motor down for low flow sampling the pump actually works harder, which causes the motor to heat up eventually burning it out, in some cases very quickly. The new QED PowerPro ESP will reach flow rates less then 100mL/minute without hurting the motor at all. The other electric submersibles have control boxes, the QED PowerPro ESP has the pump, reel and controller all in one unit.
